Our History of Performance

Early Intervention Consortium - 1998

Prior to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc.

Six independent agencies providing child care and a form of family support to an integrated population of children with and without disabilities and their families.

Value and Service Enhancements

Provision of integrated and consistent service provision;
Provided IT, data collection, fiscal and accounting services for the six independent agencies increasing overall efficiency;

MSO Benefits to Project

Positioned the collaboration for future merger with the FASST Project to form Children’s Future Hillsborough, the Children’s Board’s premier ‘infrastructure’ contract and a system of care network for young children and their families in Hillsborough County. (see below);

A Brighter Community - 2001

Prior to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc.

Child care center struggled with fiscal and accounting issues.
Lack of management continuity.

Value and Service Enhancements

Provide full spectrum of  management services;
Integrated into CFH system of care with family support services and access to ASO funding;
Implemented food service program;
Financial sustainability, oversight and governance; cohesive and stable staff with continued quality service;

MSO Benefits to Project

Implemented social entrepreneurship program to increase income;
Coordinated facility improvements; Provided stable leadership;
Generated earned income for MSO;
ABC with 80 years history remains provider in community for working poor;

St. Francis Children’s Daycare - 2001

Prior to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc.

Childcare operated in and by church personnel, with fiscal and operational issues;
Decreasing enrollment and lack of services;
Poor financial health and administrative and educational management;

Provide full spectrum of management services; Integrated program into CFH system of care with family support services and access to ASO funding;

Increased enrollment from 25 to over 60 children;
Seeking accreditation for NAEYC;
Accessed local Foundation funding for program enhancement;

Children’s Future Hillsborough - 2004

Prior to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc.

Start up collaboration required
Administrative services that could manage large, complex collaboration of not-for-profit agencies and offer strategic planning, IT connectivity, and continued quality improvement;
Urgency of implementation by funding agency (CBHC) required intense planning over a twelve month period;

Value and Service Enhancements

Currently manage day-to-day operations, providing strategic planning, sustainability planning, Information Technology, data collection, quality improvement processes, fiscal and accounting processes;
Partnership has grown from 19 to 22 collaborating organizations in one year;

MSO Benefits to Project

Grew annual budget from 4.5M to 5.75M in less than two years;
The collaboration is averaging over one new partner a year;
In its 2004-05 Collaborative Report Card, the MSO received high marks in almost every category from its partner agencies, governing council and funding agency; 

SAFE Summer Program - 2004, 2005

Prior to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc.

Children in Hillsborough County need safe, structured summer activities that are also inclusive for children with various forms of disabilities;
The Children’s Board was seeking fiscal agents who could assist organizations with sound fiscal processes;

Value and Service Enhancements

The MSO was the fiscal/program agent for five (5) organizations for this seasonal operation. Spanning ten (10) weeks the MSO provided administrative infrastructure and financial oversight, allowing the operations to concentrate on programming.

MSO Benefits to Project

The MSO served in a mentoring capacity in regards to program design, training needs and general supervisory oversight as the operation proceeded.
  Access to the MSO database made for a ‘paperless’ summer. IT infrastructure and IT training were established for all five organizations allowing for a more concise and data driven program. Easily defined outcomes.

Universal Access - 2005

Prior to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc.

Children’s Board of Hillsborough County sponsored an early childhood SOC workgroup which identified ‘universal access’ for parents of young children as an essential countywide need;
Early Childhood Council became the lead in planning and managing ongoing operations;  

Value and Service Enhancements

Start up county wide project funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County;
  Children’s Board granted the fiscal contract to Achieve Management, Inc., Inc. based on its outstanding history of management/fiscal services;
Provide oversight services to independent UA consultant in areas of organization and planning;
Provide fiscal and accounting services for overall program;
Provide IT support and indirect consultation for independent UA consultant;

MSO Benefits to Project

Planning phase of the project  completed;
  Achieve has assisted project consultant with guidance and oversight as well as handling sub-committee duties and IT recommendations;
As of January 1, 2006, Achieve will assume fiscal responsibilities for the new 9 month $125,000 contract with the Children’s Board.
