A Commitment to Helping ‘Not-for-Profits’

Achieve Management Inc. strongly believes that many ‘not-for profit’ organizations could make better use of their funds and improve their outcomes if they outsourced their infrastructure needs. ‘Not-for-profit’ organizations provide much needed services, unfortunately most do not have the financial resources for the most efficient infrastructure. To maintain their effectiveness, it is critical that they spend their limited funds on providing services rather than infrastructure. To that end, Achieve Management established a management services organization (MSO) that provides customized direct services, focused consultation, and strategic planning.

Achieve Management has ten years' experience as a management services organization. Internally, Achieves’ management team has well over 100 years combined management and program experience in ‘for-profit’ and ‘not-for-profit’ environments. We offer our in-depth experience and operational knowledge to those organizations which cannot afford similar management oversight on an individual basis.

Achieve Management is the MSO for Achieve Tampa Bay and Achieve Foundation with combined revenues of over $5 million. The MSO provides all accounting, human resource, and IT functions for these organizations as well as management oversight.

Achieve Management began its involvement with management services in 1996, when we became the ‘lead’ agency for the Early Intervention Consortium.

In 1999, Achieve became the financial and administrative agent for the Doula Program, a collaboration of Central Hillsborough Healthy Start, the Rhea and Lawton Chiles Center for Mothers and Babies at the University of South Florida, the Ounce of Prevention and the Allegany Foundation.

Achieve began to expand its management services in 2001 when it assumed total management for A Brighter Community (ABC) Preschool. Achieve Tampa Bay established this relationship to fulfill need for management assistance following a significant change in organizational leadership at ABC.

Achieve then assumed management responsibilities for St. Francis Episcopal Church Preschool in 2002.

In 2004 Achieve became the ‘MSO’ for Children’s Future Hillsborough, a $5.8 million collaboration of 22 organizations. It also became the fiscal/program agent for the SAFE Summer Program in 2004.

In 2005 Achieve became the fiscal agent for the Universal Access, Rural Social Services and Plant City Family Service and Resource programs. Also, in 2005 Achieve began performing the accounting functions for Community Tampa Bay, formerly NCCJ.

We provide a broad range of services for these organizations, including financial management, human resources, IT and management functions such as strategic and sustainability planning, contract management and quality improvement. It is important to Achieve Management that the relationship we have with our clients allow them to continue as an autonomous organization governed by their own board of directors and maintain their historical presence in the community.
